The purpose of the Charity Contribution Challenge (CCC) is multi-fold:
Monthly, Nurse Care provides a donation to a local charity or non-profit organization
Increase awareness of the need to continue funding charities and non-profits
Give back to the community
At Nurse Care of North Carolina, we spread our energy around in a
lot of ways. From a business point of view, we help seniors with
their nursing needs either at home or in an independent or assisted
living community, or hospice setting. From a social responsibility
point of view, Nurse Care feels strongly about “giving back” to the
very community that helped it become the strong business it is
today.
What is it?
We believe that there is a lot of good that comes from all of us helping
each other. That is the impetus for our monthly campaign to provide
charities with funds. We will make a contribution each month to a charity
that the public and our colleagues choose (!).
Who can vote?
Anyone and everyone is encouraged to participate in the voting process
only once every month. You get to vote for one organization each month,
and you can also ask your friends and colleagues to vote! Remember, the
organization with the most votes that month wins (no one charity can win
two months in a row, so very large organizations don’t run away with the
votes each month!).
Your e-mail address will not be provided to anyone without your
permission.
How does it work?
Each month, we ask you for two things:
Vote for the local charity of your choice (once), and/or
Nominate a local charity.
The local charity with the most votes will win that month! Because we
would like to do as much good as possible for as many local charities as
possible, no charity can win two months in a row. Nominated charities
will be vetted before being added to the list of options. Simply tell us the
name of the charity or non-profit you nominate (along with website and
any contact information you may have), and we will take it from there.
